    Happy October! As we begin a new month, we start it off strong with plenty of new stories to check up on. We have it all gathered here for you with the latest Weekly Roundup.

    Tis the season to be performing live, it seems, with new show announcements from Foo Fighters, and unique shows from U2 and Jack Black. Apple TV+ has unveiled the launch date of new series Masters of the Air, with new first-look photos as well. To finish it off, Mattel has unveiled a brand new Barbie doll of Stevie Nicks.

    Foo Fighters Announce 2024 Summer Tour — In support of their fantastic 2023 album, But Here We Are, Foo Fighters have unveiled plans for a new US stadium tour taking place in 2024. Opening acts for the shows include The Pretenders, The Hives, Alex G, and more. These shows follow a slate of UK shows through June 2024. The public sale for tickets begins Friday, October 6th via Ticketmaster, after which you can also find them on StubHub, where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program.

    U2 Kick Off MSG Sphere Residency — To inaugurate the grand opening of Las Vegas’ MSG Sphere, U2 held the first show of their “U2:UV Achtung Baby” residency — and we were there! The setlist includes songs from their 1991 album Achtung Baby, as well as other classic hits from their discography. The venue cost over $2.3 billion to construct, and had numerous A-listers in attendance, including Sir Paul McCartney.

    Masters of the Air Premiere Date Announced — The first episode for Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg’s highly anticipated series, Masters of the Air, finally has a release date. The follow-up series to the acclaimed shows Band of Brothers and The Pacific, the series  premieres Friday, January 26th on Apple TV+. The ensemble cast includes Austin Butler (Elvis), Callum Turner (Fantastic Beasts), and more.

    Jack Black Performs with Kid Band at Birthday Party — In celebration of Tom Morello’s mother’s 100th birthday, Jack Black joined a group of 12- and 13-year-olds to perform Ozzy Osbourne’s classic song “Mr. Crowley.” The sight of Black singing his heart out about British occultist Aleister Crowley to a centenarian sounds like something out of a dream, and it truly was a magical moment that thankfully someone captured to share with all of us.

    New Stevie Nicks Barbie Doll Unveiled — In honor of legendary Fleetwood Mac member Stevie Nicks, Mattel has unveiled a new doll made in her likeness. Based on the outfit she wore for the cover of Rumours, the doll is on sale currently after being announced during her Madison Square Garden show on October 1st. “When I look at her, I see my 27-year-old self,” Nicks said on her X account.
