Eddie Fu wishes he still had the tall stack of XXL and The Source magazines he collected while growing up. A native of New Jersey, he came to writing about music professionally later in life, when he freelanced for UPROXX, The Smoking Section, and Consequence before becoming the Senior Staff Writer at Genius. Having returned to Consequence as the New Music Editor, he primarily focuses on hip-hop coverage, but has a soft spot for pop punk and indie pop as well.
