CoSign alums Geese are now a four-piece band after announcing the departure of guitarist Foster Hudson on amicable terms.

In a social media statement, the band explained Hudson is stepping away to focus on academic studies. “Over the past few months, we have received a number of comments regarding Foster’s whereabouts. We would like to address said comments now,” the New York City indie rockers wrote. “Earlier this year, Foster decided to take a leave from the band to pursue his academic endeavors.”

Geese continued, “Moving forward, Foster will remain at school and Geese will continue as a 4 piece. We wholeheartedly support Foster’s decision to continue his studies and we hope that you will too.”

This past June, Geese shared their sophomore album, 3D Country, which they broke down track by track exclusively for Consequence. See where the single “Cowboy Nudes” landed on our best songs of 2023 list.
