Bob Dylan Gave His Lyrics to Post Malone — Producer Michael Cash recently revealed that Post Malone was 40% done with a recording featuring Bob Dylan’s lyrics, but never came back to the studio to finish the track. In a compilation inspired by the 2014 T Bone Burnett-produced album Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes, the project the song was intended for was to feature rappers and hip-hop artists tackling Dylan’s lyrics. Dylan, who is a personal hero of Post Malone’s, rescinded his lyrics when the Malone kept failing to show and finish the song.

The Killers Walk Away From New Album Halfway Through Recording — The Killers’ era of rock ‘n’ roll may be over. Lead singer Brandon Flowers recently confessed that the band scrapped their new album halfway through its recording, claiming he’s now more fulfilled by acoustic, Americana leaning sounds like 2021’s Pressure Machine“I don’t think you’ll see us making this type of music anymore,” Flowers said. Presumably, “this type” refers to fast-paced, electric songs akin to their 2004 debut Hot Fuss.

Duran Duran to Release New “Halloween-themed” Album, Danse Macabre —  Duran Duran are back with their 16th studio album, Danse Macabre, featuring a series of guests and covers (notably songs by Billie Eilish, Talking Heads, The Rolling Stones, and more). Ahead of the record, due out October 27th, the band released the lead single and title track, “Danse Macabre.”
