TOMORROW X TOGETHER recently performed a Tiny Desk Concert as part of NPR and LG U+’s ongoing Tiny Desk Korea series.

Our May cover stars, TXT — Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai — took over Tiny Desk Korea’s filming location, which looks a bit more like a library than Bob Boilen’s work station. But the wall of bibliophile-friendly bookcases acts as a fitting backdrop for TXT, who performed three tracks from their recent album The Name Chapter: FREEFALL.

Though TXT are more known for their larger-than-life performances like many of their K-pop contemporaries, their Tiny Desk gig saw “Skipping Stones,” “Happily Ever After,” and “Chasing That Feeling” transformed from arena-sized bangers into moody and even jazzy numbers. Opting to sit instead of busting out their choreography, TXT proved that K-pop doesn’t always have to be a full-blown spectacle — it can simply exist as just damn good pop music.

Watch TXT’s Tiny Desk Concert below.

TXT preceded The Name Chapter: FREEFALL with their May mini-album The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION. You can get your own limited edition TXT Cover Story Collector’s Box in the Consequence Shop.
