The Rolling Stones took over New York’s Racket last month for a launch event celebrating Hackney Diamonds, their first new studio album in seven years. The band is now commemorating that performance with a new live album, out January 19th.
Hackney Diamonds (Live Edition) comes as a double CD that will feature the original album tracklist along with the full seven-song set the band performed at Racket. That show saw the band debut four songs from the record: “Angry,” “Whole Wide World,” “Bit My Head Off,” “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” with special guests Lady Gaga,, plus perform greatest hits “Shattered,” “Tumbling Dice,” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.” Pre-orders are ongoing.

The Rolling Stones will take Hackney Diamonds on the road next year with with an extensive North American tour. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 1st via Ticketmaster. A Ticketmaster pre-sale begins on Thursday, November 30th (use access code BACKSTAGE). Fans can also sign up for an artist pre-sale via The Rolling Stones’ website.
